Sonicsphere Festival Organization Misery
25 Jun 2010
I was at the Sonicsphere Festival today. Rammstein was certainly fabulous.
Yet the festival organization was really shitty. I carefully studied the forbidden items list of the festival before going there. At the entrance, the festival security confiscated my umbrella, my food (though I told them I was diabetic) and my music player; telling me these items weren’t allowed in the stadium. I could retrieve none of them later.
As you may guess, none of these items were specified by the organization to be disallowed. Why can’t I just enjoy a rock concert like civil people…
In a heavy rainy day, it’s a brilliant idea to confiscate people’s umbrellas (which is not a cheap item btw).
Kudos Sonicsphere Organization! >8-(

+100000 for your comments. Rammstein fucked us all with their great performance, such a fantastic show it was!!! Sonisphere organization really sucks, worst kinda organizators I’ve ever seen in my life, I was forcing my limits not to punch any of the Sec. guys in their face (two of them were so close!!!)

I feel sorry for you Sakalli. It’s hard when you realize evil is inside human heart and real or pretended authority takes it out. I can only suggest you that you write a complain letter but expect nothing. Good luck, man.

Sorry you had a shitty experience. Sadly this is the way of the world today. Umbrellas are banned at sporting events here which makes it rather uncomfortable to enjoy winter sports.
Love your site, keep up the great work!

That reminds me of the disaster when Jean-Michel Jarre played in northern Jutland, Denmark, some ten years ago. What a disaster!
Anyway, I saw Rammstein at Roskilde Festival (near Copenhagen, also Denmark) some 7-8 years ago – heavy stuff, lots of fireworks and ka-booms…; -)
